RYAN KORBAN EDGE...

Today, as I pack up my bags and head out for my thanksgiving weekend...
I stare at my stack of home decor magazines and just radiate with excitement over devouring each one. What I love about doing so, is finding myself daydreaming over interiors that I LOVE but would never actually be able to create in my own home. I like to vicariously live through them.
This space decorated by one of my designer crushes Ryan Korban, is one of those fantasy artsy spaces that I LIVE for. Outrageous artwork, amazing lighting, lifelike zebra pillows, and fur everywhere! Ugh, its so glam I can't stand it. love.

Vogue Living & Tony Duquette in Beverly Hills

So, if you don't already know this about me...

I must let you all know that I am obsessed with amazing decor. Ridiculously obsessed. When something catches my eye, I have heart palpitations and this majestic home did just that!
Tony Duquette, one of the greats, let Vogue Living inside his beverly hills home and it is out of control goodness! So decadent and over the top and each detail is just stunning!
Drool-worthy is an understatement, don't you think?

Color palate inspiration...Grant K. Gibson does gray

Absolutely inspired by...
Grant k. Gibson and his decorator showhouse dining room.
I am loving his use of deep gray walls and kelly green dining chairs.
The bright color just looks so rich against the deep and dark dining table. Throw in a dash of black and white to the floor and a bit of brass above with lighting and we are in swoonville. Bits of blue and white china + pops of pretty pink flowers never hurt anybody either...am I right? Fab job.

A House Beautiful: Decorating with Healing & Barsanti

I'm sure most of you caught this One Day make-over in House Beautiful. I fell instantly for the use of the color purple (my favorite color). After this article, I knew I had to go check out the work of HB Home. Just as I had expected...I was extremely impressed. I love the uses of color, textures and patterns. Very chic. They have locations all over the east coast and I had no idea. Now I need to rush out the door and go check out the NYC showroom. Yay. Shopping!

See my picks from their incredible portfolio...
HB Home uses incredible chinoiserie wallpapers, gorgeous inlaid bone pieces, bright peach sofas, colorful pillows with vibrant patterns, graphic curtains, oversized ottomans, and beautiful lamps.

Decorating for Spring with Ruthie Sommers

Ruthie Sommers is a long time favorite interior decorista of mine. I love that she is not afraid of color. The minute I saw these pictures of her California home, I immediately got so excited for spring. I'm so ready for sunshine and lighter clothing that is all over the magazines these days. I am patiently anticipating the manhattan days I can spend reading a book at central park with no gloves on. Oh, Ruthie, she just gets my decorator mind going...Her master bedroom is one of my favorite girlie bedrooms ever! It's gorgeous. I am loving this home and so ready for the brighter colors that are spring...

Designer Crush: Estefania Carrero, Architectural Digest Spain

Loving the calm, creamy color palate of this gorgeous home by Madrid designer, Estefania Carrero. A mix of traditional glamour and sophistication. I am especially LOVING the mirrors on the back wall. In NYC, every apartment could really use at least one wall of mirrors. Its incredible how large wall of mirrors can make a space feel. So important with the crazy little square footage. I am really into the style.

Now for the rest of her incredible apartment...

Gorgeous artwork, fabulous accessories, incredible patterns and textiles.

Her portfolio is full of goodness that is sure to make any decorista smile. She also has gorgeous collections of pillows available which are such fun to look at.
How gorgeous is this sunny, full of style penthouse loft? I'm absolutely smitten with the pops of orange and yellow. Oh, and the tiger art piece too!

needing. wanting. loving. {velvety green gorgeousness}

I am just completely smitten with the sophistication of this room from Celerie Kemble's lonny spread.
First of all, the woman is a genius with decor, the execution of her vintage & modern combos is completely majorly spot on. Oh, how I love the deep rich green with wood chair and ottoman pairings. How about the black side table with gold embellishments, so glamorous. This is definitely a note-worthy look. I want it all now.

interior style crush: Graham Moss

After perusing the internet over the holiday weekend, I have so much to share.
I have fallen head over heels in love with the creative works of NYC interior stylist Graham Moss. The creative mind train that is used for set styling is unpredictable and a vital necessity in the design world. It takes amazing patience and a well trained eye to pull off style like this.

I love his uses of monochromatic color stories to set the scene for this show-stopping interiors.

This unexpected butterfly artwork works perfectly here. I can’t get enough of Mr. Moss’s work.
So splendid...don't you think?

Home Tour + Bliss in the kitch'...sara tuttle style

The lovely way Sara Tuttle decorates her interiors just blows me away. I have such a girl crush on this woman. She was named as one of Domino Magazine's "10 decorators to watch"...which made me instantly know I would love her.
In her ultra stylish apartment, this richly dark kitchen is perfection mixed with the white cabinetry. Can you get over the fabulous floors? So traditional, so stylish, so chic for such a small space.

I love the rest of her gorgeous Washington DC digs. Packed to the max with some serious style.
I can appreciate her mix of furniture styles and artwork. The highs and the lows are all over this space. Completely achievable on a budget...It definitely had me at hello.
In this bedroom, so many little details create the perfect relaxing boudoir...
not to mention a killer view!

Decorista Trend Spotting: decorating with dramatic lighting

I am seeing from-the-sea decor so much lately and I am finding myself smitten with the look. Kimberly Ayers uses these gorgeous coral-like light fixtures in her decor. I strongly suggest incorporating this look through beautiful + dramatic light fixtures like these. Genius!

Vanessa de Vargas also killed it with this dining room! The light fixture is AMAZING and how about that gorgeous peacock wallpaper? I mean, we all know how much I just love birds.
The collection of mirrors...well I am just smitten with the look. love!
