Spring decorating with cherry blossoms

Now that the weather is gorgeous out and all the blooms are in full effect, I love taking this element inside into the decor. How chic do cherry blossoms look in living areas? I am all for the idea. You see it everywhere in magazines so that's kind of confirmation that they are stunning as style accents. This particular boho chic look with gorgeous black walls is a perfect situation for pink blossoms. It accents the pink perfectly. Which by the way, black accent walls are back I guess. I wasn't a big fan, then I read this and perhaps my mind has changed.

A while back I was telling you all about my friend, Dallas Shaw, and her fabulous all black dining room. Well, she finally finished it and it looks so chic, no? I thought I was tired of seeing the Scalamandre zebra wallpaper, but in this all black room, how can I not love it? With her sassy and fun personality its a perfect fit, right along with that cool chandelier and wood, wood, wood pieces. I'm feeling like maybe I should do some fun entertaining for New Years Eve decked out in a sequin piece or two and full on Scalamandre.
