The last day of 2014 has me scrambling to get everything together before 2015. With the new year comes new things and new ways of being, at least for me. I love starting afresh, new vision board, new journal, new goals. Yesterday I sent out an email newsletter with my cheat sheet for making and keeping your new years resolutions. Which I will definitely be working on keeping to this year. Then I came across this awesome little direction activity for the my 2015 and I am totally into it. I think my year this year will be for PASSION. What's yours?
3 easy and super chic last minute NYE party decor ideas
Can you believe the year is over in just 2 days!??! It's happening so fast. I still haven't even gotten my New Years resolutions down. I better get on it and quick before the festivities begin. I'll be scouring the town for some last minute holiday party decorations to bring to the party I am attending. While I would love to be ringing in my New Year at this table above, I've pulled together a few ideas NYE as decor inspiration.
Balloons. A super easy and affordable way to spruce up a dinner party. I love the idea of tying balloons as napkin rings. I love the height it adds to the table, and the effect of letting the balloons go as the dinner party begins. Also, a wall of balloons is such a simple move with a HUGE statement. Tape balloons at staggering heights to create the illusion of a wall. This can also be a great way to close off any areas you don't want guests to enter.

I also LOVE the idea of personal champagne splits with fun straws. It's so much easier than having a ton of glassware out to clean in the morning, when that's probably the last thing you want to do in the AM. Throw ribbon on it and voila, party time. Also, I love the idea of taking ordinary things around the house and turning them into ice buckets. This year I am thinking of turning my gold decorative clam shell into the champagne bucket. Keeps things interesting and unique.
There is nothing more fun at a party than a photo booth. Don't have the cash to shell out for a professional one? No worries. Get yourself some sparkly streamers, tape them to the wall and let people flex their selfie skills with your super cool backdrop. Ask them to hashtag your party name and create instructional signage for it. Instagram will love you for it.
Let's get the party started right??!??!?!!!
