Okay guys. Pink things make me happy. Have you seen my ‘decorista pink’ pinterest board?! Well, Now that I have been a little more ‘lifestyle’ here on the blog, I have really decided to share almost everything about my day. All the things I find that help me because I am always looking to be better, more efficient, living my best life every single day. What I have learned is that mornings are the most important part of your day, at least that is what I have learned from years of working with the most successful people I know.
I typically spend my morning with coffee in hand. I’m handing Roman, getting ready, prepping for the day while sipping java. Every once and a while though, I need a break from coffee. I would say like once a week, I wake up and don’t really want coffee. I’m all about switching things up to keep life exciting. But I still need that good caffeine coursing through my body. It is essential.

I prefer to have this drink on ice and sip it through a pretty straw. When I am out of my LaCroix, I even like to throw it in my soda stream and sparkle it up. I am a big fan of sparkling water, I don’t know, flat water just doesn’t do it for me all day long. If you don’t have a SodaStream, I highly recommend getting one, they are the best! You can turn anything into a gorgeous glass of sparkling water.
Anyway, I just love to have this drink in the morning because it makes me feel hydrated and it is so pretty to look at. Plus, I love iced drinks in the AM, iced coffee, iced teas. The cold water really just gets you going when you have a huge to do list and plenty of house items to tackle. The best part is, you don’t have that jittery feeling coffee can sometimes give you. I know when I am on a coffee detox, I love to drink this drink. It is the perfect amount of caffeine to drink when you are pregnant, too. I drank it almost every morning during my pregnancy with Roman.
Now, I am off to throw some laundry in the wash, find some new velvet hangers (I’m thinking I want some pink ones) and organize the crap out of my closet, then record a new podcast episode. I am drinking my pink drink right now, can you tell it gets you energized?!?!
