I'm on a major sourcing spree lately, I've been finding the coolest things. I loved seeing this room in the new Domino. Sally Wheat cleverly used the Dorothy Draper dresser we all love + covet in this chic little vignette. I really love the vibe going on here. So, I'm thinking I want to get this look going in one of my new projects. Now, the original dresser can run in the thousands or if you are lucky enough, you can find one at a thrift shop. I used to see them in LA all the time. However, Pier 1 has a few left at a super reasonable price for those of you who don't want to shell out that kind of dough. Halloween chic...the perfect holiday tabletop

As much as I adore holidays, especially Halloween, I am not really the biggest fan of the spooky decor. I love the chance to get my noir on, all things gothic are chic, etc. However, this year, I'm just not feeling that vibe. Then I saw this tabletop decor and said, YES!

Now, lets break down the elements...Notice the gold + black rimmed dishes, they are perfection. Gold rimmed stemware looks so chic here too. I also love the mixing of metallics, cream & white tapered candles, white and gold pumpkins. This is how I would do Halloween chic.
