It's that time again, the Monday morning motions are fully into play. I usually love Mondays because I love to begin working on creating new things but today I'm not really feeling it. What I am feeling, are gorgeous interiors from places I've been missing. If you haven't been to Spain, I totally suggest you putting it on your list. The food is fantastic, which I probably because I am part Spaniard. Also, the decor + design aesthetic is just so intoxicating. Especially in Madrid. It's so rich with history and beautiful culture. I can't deal with how much I love it there. This home, featured in AD France, is exactly what I am talking about. It's got a relaxed eclectic vibe I just melt for.
I just love the mix of antique chairs and velvets. Taxidermy, vintage books, a tray for tea. It's all so very Sunday afternoon. We also know how much I love my brass and these brass items are just too cool, I'm in love with the brass palm tree.
I am also very into the rich high gloss walls. In my upper east manhattan apartment I painted the walls and ceilings marshmellow white in super high gloss and it was the most gorgeous wallcolor. I swear I would touch it, it was so good. It just takes the room to another elegantly stylish level.
