Home tour Inspiration: Sera of London

In the cooler months of the year, I typically like to spend lots of time cozy on the sofa browsing my Pinterest boards. Something about images of fireplaces just soothes my decorating sensibilities. I tend to opt for more layers and a romantic bohemian style in the Wintertime. It just makes me feel something magical. 

I found the home of Sera of London and fell instantly for the eclectic, feminine, exotic, romantic and glamorous look of her space. The wood floors and brick walls set the perfect stage for a cozy sanctuary. Yet adding feminine touches like soft lighting, lots of lace and fringe, personal touches and displaying your most favorite items. 

I promise this girl experiences bliss at home. 

Not to mention fireplaces and candles add everything to a home like this. . .

Fashion Vibes: transitioning to pastels for Spring

What can I say, I love changing colors with the seasons. Usually when that sunshine starts to emerge again, I'm ready to add a dash of color to my life. Always in muted tones to ease back into bold colors for summer. I love pastels, always have always will. This Spring, I'm all about pretty pinks and purples in the pastel shades, mixed with white and nude. Here's why I am so inspired by this look...

I think an extra long relaxed, blouse like trench is so on point this Spring. I don't know that I would do baby blue trouser pants, but I would totally rock pink ones like these from J. Crew. On top of it, I would throw just a basic white tee like this Theory one she's wearing. Or, my absolute favorite tees on the planet...James Perse. They fit so well, I'm a curvier girl so I need a shirt that fits a woman. For shoes, I couldn't go all the way white, but Michael Kors makes these really pretty white wedges, with just a touch of white, so they don't get too dirty.

Now, the best part of all of this would be this fabulous Prada bag in nude. If I could have anything I wanted, I would probably go for this snakeskin, nude, gorgeous Prada bag, literally my dream bag. However, because my budget doesn't work like that I am totally feeling these pink Prada sunnies, wouldn't they be so chic for Springtime? I'm very simple when it comes to accessories, but I do like this gold chain bracelet. That would do it for me. That, and my nails will be coated all Spring with Essie St. Lucia, I never tire of lilac nails in the Spring. They are so chic.
