Hoping you all had a beautiful Valentine's Day! After discussing with you yesterday my tips for decorating for love and romance, I came across a beautiful example of just how its done. This bedroom refresh by Crush Interiors, originally posted on Rue. Obviously I love black so this room just called out to me.
Artwork of blossoming flowers, matching nightstands and sconces, its completely set up for a sweet little romance. It's super sweet and styled with such personality.
Typically, in my interiors, especially when the walls are dark, I like to match the color drapes with the walls. It makes the room just feel bigger and keeps a soft contrast in texture. I love when its done well and here, the Crush girls did it so well.
The thing I absolutely LOVE about black walls is that the television just melts away. It's not sure a sore sight, so you have to appreciate that.

SIDE NOTE: This room is a little bit of a mix of styles, which is fun. I like mixing and I especially love to encourage mixing different looks in your own space.
