The other day I was at a restaurant and I fell absolutely in love with the decor because of the decor. All of the seating in the bar area was a rich blue velvet tufted banquette with matching chairs and smaller sofas. I was in heaven. There is something about velvet + tufting that just makes a room feel luxurious. You don't have to spend a fortune to get the look, you can always mix and match things. To me, its such a killer combination.
I'm obsessed with tufted velvet headboards, there are also plenty of other ways to incorporate the look. Headboards, benches, sofas, chairs, ottomans, etc. The fabulous thing about the look, it can work with any style. It works with bohemian, eclectic, romantic, modern or even traditional. I always prefer a more glamorous look.
