Halloween tabletop inspiration

It's about that time to start prepping for Halloween house parties. I can remember being a little girl and having the best Halloween parties in the neighborhood. Everyone in our family always dressed up over the top and I was always so in love with the smoking punch and candied apples. I've not been big on doing it myself at my house, probably because I don't have kiddos yet but after seeing a few Halloween inso shoots, I may change my mind. This first dark and moody look by Justina B used with items from Savers thrift is so so spooky and gorgeous.

The other look I am pretty in love with is by Mandy from Waiting on Martha. It's a lighter take on the Halloween look but I love it just as much. I love the textures going on in here, it makes for such a cozy yet festive look.

Weekend entertaining: tablescape by Barneys

I've got a full weekend ahead of me this weekend. Having a little dinner party & packing up my things and moving to a new space. Yes, there is some big news coming ahead which I will fill you in on soon. Most importantly, I am running around trying to get some extra fun things for a more glam tabletop and I am kind of in love with everything Barney's has going on for the home sweet home right now. 

The buyers for Barney's are coming from a really fresh palate that I love love love.. Black and white contrasting looks, dashes of gold and silver, deep greens and neutral grays. It's all my favorite looks right now. Glamorous and earthy. I'm a Capricorn so earthy things always appeal to me, just as long as its still glam.
