Weekend decorating idea: spruce up your coffee table

Decorating my new condo is all that is on my mind lately so anytime I find something I like, I buy it for my coffee table. After organizing all of the things I bought, I realized that I might need to get a bigger coffee table than the one I planned on. I was going to order the new Nate Berkus table but it was on backorder for over 3 months and it was a bit too small for me. Now I am reconsidering getting one of these. It got me to thinking about coffee table styling. Why not switch it up every once and a while and decorate it differently for different seasons or moods. If you are anything like me, you pay attention to the seasons, the energy and right now a new moon is happening with some serious movement in the air. Mirrored coffee tables are so so elegant, aren't they? I love glamorous art books, vintage candlesticks and beautiful vases with my favorite flowers. This is a clean look that I just adore. Here are some books that would look fab!

Busts always look so chic on coffee tables. I always love to place them anywhere for a fun and fabulously elegant vibe. 

I was so taken aback by this gorgeous Halloween inspired coffee table set up. Gothic, gorgeous and fit for any glamorous gal. I love the crystal glassware and candlesticks. Guest room makeover + a black and white abstract art DIY

I've been working on a guest bedroom makeover for a while now. Remember when we painted this room Sherwin Williams Highland Gray? I had been shopping around for a while looking for accents for this room. I definitely wanted all black and white, a little romance, a little edge. For a guest room, it always seems that the budget is MUCH smaller than the rest of the house, no? So I knew that H&M would probably be a perfect fit for this space.

I just first want to say, I am so in love with the black linen duvet set. It's totally comfortable and completely gorgeous, especially in person. Exactly what I was looking for and at an affordable price point. Gotta love that. The throw is also black and white in a cool pattern. I wanted the mix to be a little bit feminine and a little bit masculine so I put these gorgeous velvet Euro shams on from Arhaus. LOVE them. 

I stocked up on the Black Oak candles from H&M because they have the most amazing scent. I am completely into Noir right now. When I stayed at the Edition Hotel in Miami, the noir scent was everywhere so its masculinity has just kept me going with it. 

To add a little more to the mix, I stopped by my local thrift store and found these fab gold cage tables with a grey and pink agate pattern on the top for $30. Score. I also found an old gold framed art piece. It was bluebonnets but I painted over it because I knew I wanted a black and white abstract look over the bed. It was about $50 for the art and $7 for the black and white paint. Easy little weekend project, no?
