10 mindset shifts and affirmations for true self worth in business and content creation

Recently someone asked me what I wish I would have known about being a women entrepreneur when I first started out. I actually had to take some time to think about an informative, helpful and authentic answer.

As I sat in contemplation, I couldn't help but think about the much younger version of me that didn't have a clue was I was doing and didn’t feel worthy of joy, success, having it all. I actually used to think that most humans were meant for struggle. There was a subconscious part of me that didn't think I deserved real money or career success so the moment I reached a new goal or accomplishment, I would sabotage myself by overthinking everything, overworking myself to death, hesitate from making quick decisions and taking risks.

All of these things held me back in terms of my business and what I was creating in the world. Needless to say, career success doesn’t come just from solid strategy, marketing secrets or any one solution, it comes from having confidence in yourself and a solid self worth/self concept.

What is a self concept?

A self-concept, also known as self-identity or self-perception, is the collection of beliefs, perceptions, and ideas that an individual holds about themselves. It's essentially how a person views and defines themselves based on their own thoughts, feelings, experiences, and interactions with the world. A self-concept is a multifaceted and complex construct that encompasses various aspects of an individual's identity, including their physical, psychological, social, and emotional dimensions.

The confident, self loving, passionate, blissfully happy & successful version of me writing this email didn't just happen. I had to intentionally choose her every single day. I was hell bent, on a mission to have a healthy self concept, feeling worthy of all my wildest dreams. I'm no different than you. I didn't grow up with a silver spoon in my mouth. I just made a decision that my life was going to be different. I decided that I was over that way of being, and moving forward I was going to be the CO-CREATOR of my beautiful life, one decision at a time. 

This is why I created my program Soul Aligned Success: 21-days of shifts to overcome self-sabotage.

THE MINDSET SHIFTS THAT CHANGED MY SELF CONCEPT AND SELF WORTH :

💕 I decided to choose the SUCCESSFUL and THRIVING version of me by making time for morning meditations, and in those morning meditations I focused on training my mind to think positively about myself and the work I create in the world. (this is key!)
💕 I decided to fill my mind with positive affirmations that cause me to have healthy and positive thoughts about myself.
💕 I choose her by doing my morning blissful manifesting journal exercises every single morning (this is part of the work we are doing in the house of bliss membership) 
💕 I choose her by making sure I have my sparkling grapefruit water with lime in a wine glass at night instead of a few sugar filled glasses of wine before bed. 
💕 I choose her by asking myself what my heart feels passionate about doing with my life in terms of work, instead of doing the things that I feel other people expect me to do career wise. I choose what makes ME happy. 
💕 I choose her by only allowing the most high vibe, inspirational friendships into my life so I feel truly seen and supported. 
💕 I choose her by getting up early in the morning to make time for proper exercise and nutrition.

Because I choose to live and life that is in alignment with my highest, happiest, thriving version of myself, I get to be in love with my life and co-create the life that I believe God wanted me to have all along. And to know that I am powerfully creating my future.

Sometimes the only thing holding us back from our dreams is just an old belief we are holding on to or something we keep telling ourselves.
Like, I can't buy that handbag I want because the economy is super unstable right now.....
I'm not going to share that vulnerable side of me because I'm afraid of what they'll think......
When I lose 15lbs, I’ll finally find my soul mate.....I’m happy with this job I hate because it pays the bills. Etc.
The truth is, you have to do what feels good to you. Today is a great day to let go of the crap that's in your head telling you to be something your soul doesn't vibe with. Your real work is to drop the weight of these things that aren't lighting you up & setting your soul on fire.

Hey girl. I am back with another Blissful Blogging post and this one is so so good. Remember our last post?

Well, just incase you don't know me that well yet, I want take today to share a little bit more about me (you can also read some here) and my WHY...my story...

I'm Ashlina Kaposta. I’m a blogger turned online entrepreneur, multi-passion mom-boss, digital course creator and a spiritual business coach for women entrepreneurs! 

Here's my story: 

In the late Summer of 2008, like many people, I was laid off from my job in Real Estate Development. With no idea where to turn, an economic crisis and an expensive apartment in Beverly Hills with rent to pay. 

I also had a deep desire to build a life with purpose, to do something I was passionate about. Taking another 9-5 corporate desk job was literally the last thing on earth I wanted to do.

So, I started a blog to vent about it. To express this part of me that was looking for fulfillment, looking to find something deeper to connect to and a place to share all the things I loved about decorating and interior design that my friends weren't into. My blog was called "Secrets of Domestic Bliss" and I became OBSESSED.

I blogged every single day. I blogged about my heart, my passions, it was a way to express myself in the deepest way possible. It put me in such a happy place. The happiness and boost I needed after my lay-off came through expressing my heart with the world. 

And then one day, it happened. My blog got a comment from someone besides my mom or friends. It was an actual reader, from the UK. We instantly connected, bonded and became friends. Oh, the magic of the internet. 

As I cultivated this relationship, it turned to more and more and more. I was up till 3 am most nights learning about the internet, blogging, online strategy, branding, marketing.....and I was doing this at a time when nobody I knew understand what in the world I was doing. 

Back in 2008, when I started blogging...people thought I was crazy. But 3.5 months in I got a check in the mail from Google for $1250.

Mind blown. Making money like that online was UNFATHOMABLE to most. But I knew I was onto something different.
.
These days the amount of money that can be made online is EXPONENTIAL! Having an online presence has given me more financial security than any 9-5 could have given me.
.
And most people are pouring themselves on social media to try and build a following & find themselves frustrated. HOT TIP: you don’t need a huge following to make 💸! You can go deeper & serve the following you have by growing your content online!

You have something to offer the world and deep inside you know it. 
You have the potential to teach, influence, share your story and heal/help others!
