For most of my life I have been a girl who loves summer, however since moving to NYC I have become a fall girl. I love the colors of fall, all of the gorgeous jewel tones. My hair + skin also look best with jewel tones as they are the most flattering. So I am really into it. I was going to get a manicure yesterday and I've been getting inspired by furniture for my nail color. This photo sealed the deal. How chic are these berry colored chairs?

Something I have always been an advocate of is painting the ceiling. I like to paint ceilings in contrasting colors than the walls. I've never seen this done before, but white walls + a berry toned ceiling..? I'm into it.

Most of you have seen my apartment, in the last issue of Rue and I am so proud of my cute teeny shoebox of a space. However, the one room where I haven't done much is the bathroom. I've been so inspired lately by incredibly well decorated powder rooms. I thought damask was over, but when I saw this wallpaper with a gorgeous blue damask pattern, I fell hard. The gold hardware just sealed the deal for me.

How do we feel about a rose gold bathtub with metallic wallpaper as a backdrop? What about the gorgeous gold mirror, chandelier and exotic persian rug? I'm loving this look. Below, how incredible is this huge shower room with greenery? See, the grid look is good?
