Oh, Monday. You're here already. Yesterday I spent the day with my dad just chatting and doing family type of things. We have a similar obsession with home improvement. A few years ago he added some black marble to his bathroom, as per my affections for marble. This time, I got the fabulous idea that we should get some black paint to put over the accent wall. My day looked a little something like this...
Yay! I love when dads just let you do cool stuff. We used Valspar, Very Black in a satin finish and it just looks so perfect. It totally looks so chic with his black marble tile throughout. Black, white, and brass finishes {which is my next big push} Gonna be something really good. It's so elegant looking.
I wouldn't always necessary say to cover your bathroom in black marble, its not always the right look. I really like how this bathroom has just little touches of the black. I think it just adds a little something. It's very 'hotel chic'. My dad thinks I am obsessed with marble and I'm crazy. It's so Kelly Wearstler cool, so I'm not afraid of my love affair. Then I saw these boots and thought to myself..."every glam decorista should be rocking these"
