Currently in decor: A navy love affair

If you have been following my facebook or instagram posts at all then you know I am on a navy kick right now. I am absolutely in love with this color. This office was the kick off, I think. I've also always been a fan of metallic ceilings. Hello, my favorite room I've ever designed had a gold one. This office with a silver one is inspiring me to move more to silver next. For now, I'll stick on my navy kick. My girl Crystal, did this pretty navy room with One Kings Lane for Rue and I love it.

This Jonathan Adler hollywood chair is so chic, I think adding some of these to a dining room would look good.

I'm a fan of faux skins and I adore this faux skin navy pouch.

It's winter, choosing a chic throw in navy is almost essential right now.

Feathers...

Feathers. Yes. I have a small thing with feathers. Most people are opposed to feathers, but I just am not. I adore them. I find that feathers soften a space and are a fantastic styling tool when looking to create well styled photographs. I think there is something very regal about feathers. It makes me think of royalty I guess. This dining room by Kishani Perera stole my little heart. I adore how her little vase of feathers takes the place of flowers when you are out of fresh blooms.

Then I found these majorly insane lamps on TIG from the Aynhoe Hotel in England. So very over-the-top I thought, naturally I looked into it, and to no surprise they are about 6,000 a piece. I think if I really wanted to I could perhaps make one myself? I just think its so different and out of the box, could be so great for a fun party or something, no?
