This morning I literally woke up earlier than most days because my dreams were so exciting. I'm pretty excited because that hasn't happened to me in a while and I finally feel back in my zone. I love jumping out of bed in the morning with visions of things to create. It's ever so exciting! Lately, I've been craving fall already and the colors that go with it. Here is a little mood board of all the things I'm dreaming of...

Here are a few textures I was playing around with at home. The big mustard part is my new journal I got this summer, the color just makes me so happy. It looks so fab next to my plum croc wallpaper and that is what really popped it all off...

I also love this yellow skirted table. In my brain, I throw into the mix, plum, tiger print, and those grey glossy walls.

So, this week I will probably be doing a lot of reflecting back on my NYC visit. Partly, because I love that city and also because I'm leaving very inspired to create some new things. One of these inspirations was visiting very chic offices in Soho. As I was walking down the long hallway on the way to a meeting, I felt like I was walking through the chicest little hall. It really inspired me. The black-bottom look is still very "in". {and something very easy you could do over the weekend to add a pop to your home}

It reminded me of when I saw B. Jones & her digs, I love what she did with her kitchen. It's such a clean yet glam look and very easy to do. I would throw in a bigger chandelier there myself and voila!
