After such a colorful weekend, I'm craving a bit of neutrals in my home decor. I tend to shy away from neutrals because I always love such rich fabrics and colors. There's always time when you need a breather though, time when you want to rest your eyes. In my dream world, I would have a relaxing vacation home, decked out in intoxicating neutrals. Feminine glamour in West Village

This week, the weather in NYC is kind of perfection. I love November weather here. It's so nice. I also love a good Manhattan home tour. I find the people in the West Village to have the most vibrantly styled townhomes. This gorgeous feminine pad just proves my point. My first Manhattan apartment was this wall color, and after seeing this space, I kind of want to go back. Interior designer Rob Stuart nailed this space with feminine elegance to kill for. I love the mixing of styles here. You have your modern glamour with accents of gold and pink, an exposed wood rustic look in the dining and very industrial chic barstools. Not something I would have thought to put together but I really like it. I also love the touch of black on the staircase, adds that sophisticated element to sort of bring it all together.
