While in Vegas, I took some time out for myself to do a little shopping which I don't normally do. We stayed at the Aria Hotel and the shopping center has some pretty gorgeous shops. My favorite of them all was Kiki de Montparnasse. I am firm believer in having very fine robes & lingerie, its so empowering for us girls. The boutique is like walking into a girls dream dressing room, I was completely inspired by the gorgeous grey fabric everywhere, extravagant light fixtures, black and white toile dressers, hollywood style black armoires, peacock feather pendant lighting, oversized mirrors with excellent lighting, it even smelled incredible. Every detail was tended to and I'm left dying to create a room like this for myself. What is a bedroom without the proper feminine accoutrements?
choosing your vanity
Hope you guys have had a good start to this week. My week has been a little behind due to the fact that I have been in Las Vegas at the Winter Market. I don't know what it is but this market has probably been the best market I've been to in a while. First of all, they had over double the attendance that they have had in the past few years, which means business is good for all of us in this industry. I love when business is buzzing and new things are popping up, it always is so inspiring.
Anyway, hotel life is always so nice and during my stay this trip I really enjoyed my time at the vanity. In fact, I sat in my white robe at the vanity more than normal. It got me thinking, I am craving a gorgeous & girlie vanity, pronto. I quite like this mirrored look, its glam and modern. Then I came across Kelley's vanity & loved the quaint vintage feel of the whole space.
That got me thinking, how can I choose which look to go for. Which vanity look would you choose? Are you more Sophisticated Siren or perhaps a Vintage Vixen?
