Bathroom basin ideas. . .

I've had bathrooms on my mind lately, especially because we are renovating a bathroom in one of my projects right now. I have been on the search for gorgeous flooring, I want something new and interesting. I came across this gorgeous dark wood herringbone floor and it just struck me. They way it looks with the gorgeous molding filled, off black walls. 

I did a little research and came across Corian and their gorgeous collection of basins here. Modern, unique, glamorous, just right up my alley. I love the modern vibe they have but still work just as beautifully in a traditional setting. 

While I do think these Corian basins are stunning, I prefer a solid countertop so I can have my beauty products out when using them. This mix is pretty interesting. 

I think ideally, it would be nice to have a gorgeous sink with a long countertop, but keep an open space for towels and more organized bathroom storage.

My favorite pattern: black and white stripes

If you have seen a lot of work I do there is one pattern that almost always pops up into the space. Black and white stripes. I just love it. I'm always trying to incorporate the classic pattern because it lends so much to high style and glamour. I recently came across this gorgeous guest room, with black and white stripes on the walls. How fantastic would it be to have this as a guest room? 

I know that black and white striped walls can be a little bold and for most of you, you may not want to make the jump. You can either just do one wall behind the bed like the room above. I also encourage you to add the pattern by placing accents in the room or around your home. Try using a few of these I found. . .
