I am basically on the hunt for serious home renovation inspiration, I've got my eyes on wood beams, fireplaces, flooring, etc. I just can't help myself, I love to dream up beautiful spaces. In Austin, there are a lot of exposed wood beams and everyone seems to leave them the natural wood but my eyes are all in love with painting them black right now. It just looks so chic against white. Naturally, I turned to the stylings of Jeff Andrews, designer for Kylie Jenner and this home just nailed it perfectly for me.
Obviously I am in love love love with this black kitchen. I mean. It's gorgeous. It's exactly what I would dream for myself except I am also obsessed with the new black stainless steel appliances but whatever, beggars can't be choosers, right?
After check out this fabulously photographed home tour, I am even more in love with the space because you get to see it with limitless options for new styling. I really love the soft greige color on the walls that feels so fresh next to white. Black flooring is also incredibly glamorous, I would just kill for black floors.
A mirrored back wall for a bedroom? Um, want!
While the bathroom is seriously dark and moody, I kind of like it. It's just different than you typically see. It's super interesting. Well done Jeff.
I also really like the spin on the mediterranean exterior style. He threw in some more modern + urban pieces and it looks like I'm ready to throw a huge outdoor dinner party. I am totally ready to move in!
It's all about getting the right lighting really. Here are some of my current lighting loves.
