making grey work...

I am about to do a fun project with Valspar paints and I am in serious need of some inspiration...

I have also been trying to convince my family how chic grey can be. They haven't quite embraced the chic-ness of grey yet so I am on a mission to prove how sophisticated this color really is.

I have always thought grey + white is one of the most glamorous combos. However, I love this mix with a light beige so much. The little hints of black make it look so much more masculine, which will appeal to everyone in my family. 

For a little mix of femininity, I really love this look for a guest bedroom. It's so cozy, yet still so glamorous and chic.

Designer Crush...Antonino Buzzetta NYC

I am having a moment and crushing hard on designer Antonino Buzzetta! His design is totally up my alley. When I first spotted his design work at the Housing Works Design on a Dime event, I knew we would have some design vibing going on. His room was layered with elements of Parisian flair which of course I love. I mean who doesn't love chartreuse velvet tufted chairs, right?

Oh, and pink croc doesn't hurt anybody either. It's a little dramatic, but I really appreciated the creativity happening here. 

So, I checked out his portfolio and noticed how effortlessly he translates this look into real living. How beautiful blue tufting sets the stage and always steals the show.
