happy birthday to me!
I cant even believe that I am another year older! I had the best birthday ever! We spent the weekend in San Diego at the super posh IVY hotel Gaslamp district. I was so blessed to have my girls right there with me. My daddy sent champage galore for the ladies...so sweet. The weekend was the epitome of GLAMOROUS! I am so excited for the year 2008 and excited for what the year of "27" has in store for me. As my friend Tara says "it was the year i found my TRUE LOVE"xoxo
EAT PRAY LOVE

"Its about a woman who had the perfect life, job, husband, house etc. Who felt so incomplete and decided that she must set out on a journey to find balance between pleasure and devotion. She travels through Italy, India and Indonesia. She lets go of all over her rules and ultimately finds love with a Brazilian man."
OF COURSE i was going to buy this book! Are you kidding me? Anything to remind me of my Brazilian man....i bought it the next morning and finished it in 3 days. Trust me its a must read!

HAPPY NEW YEARS 2008

Sometimes I seriously feel like the luckiest girl in the world. So i spent the end of my 2007 in Washington DC with my friend Jerome. I call him Jay-Rome. We are old old friends back from Texas but he now lives in DC. The minute I landed I just felt so excited. DC is goregous...the monuments, the history. You just feel the city humming with a crazy energy. I got teary eyed the minute I laid eyes on huge president Lincoln, i think he is my favorite....well besides JFK. We did shopping and restaurants and football (yay packers!) and we even went to GREAT FALLS. We spent NYE at PARC, a sweet 4 level nightclub that was seriously super CHIC nightclub. It was such a blast...I am so lucky to have a friend like Jay-Rome. We had great conversation and great memories. Thanks Jay....FOR EVERYTHING!xoxo
San Fransisco

bon voyage!

i really could not be more excited for this trip. ive been preparing all weekend. to celebrate my departure, yesterday tuyet and i spent the day at THE STANDARD HOTEL. (our favorite pool) Its awesome, we drank bottles of wine, laid out, played with cute boys, played ping pong (love it) and swam in the pool looking at views of the beautiful city of LA. Its really so much fun, and our favorite sunday spot. We are so blessed to live here. I'm sooooo going to miss LA.

6 days and counting....

till i leave for the "down under". and i am seriously SO excited. I have all of this nervous and excited energy taking me through every day.
Tonight we are going to see MUSIQ SOULCHILD in concert. This has been our summer of concerts. We saw Neyo, John Mayer, Snow patrol, blue october, and we are going to see Dashboard Confessional too. Each concert we saw at a different venue and different city which made them even better cause we get to explore cali. i love me some TX but CA gives us a run for the money. especially santa barbara, which is so far my favorite place.......

(this is the hollywood bowl...where we saw john mayer...and the best part is we can walk here from our casa....sweet!)
