The other day I was watching a decorating video on youtube. The girl was so adamant about not putting dark colors on the wall and how it makes a room seem so much smaller. Well, if the girl knew anything about color, she would know that some dark colors, actually make the eye expand and make a room seem larger. {see this apartment therapy color winning room for proof} I'm such a fan of deep colors on the wall. I think it can sometimes make a room seem more grand, and more warm, comfortable, cozy. If you are hesitant about going dark on the walls, this is a public service announcement...DO IT! Go deeper, darker and get ready to be amazed.
