After finishing the paint in the guest bedroom, I had one of those moments where I was just not happy with the color. Remember when I had the vision for a gorgeous teal room & chose Newport Gray? While the color is beautiful, I was not totally in love with the final outcome. I'm currently getting over teal and looking to use a color more fresh and rich. (oh, thanks to my ADD decorista brain) I want full on navy. Seriously. I never thought I would actually have to take advantage of Valspar Love Your Color Guarantee but was thanking the good Lord that they stay true to that word...see, look...
I did want to show you all how gorgeous the Newport Gray was, but it was just okay for me, its almost a little too green gray blue for my soul. Navy is a BAM kind of color, and something different than the current teal trend. So, we switched things up and went for Valspar Royal Navy which is much more of a neutral navy and just absolutely rich and gorgeous. It looks fantastic with gold accents and gives you such a soft and soothing vibe. I'm ecstatic over the final result. Decorating is still in process so you will have to stay tuned for the results.
