This morning I have been recording some new videos for my Unleash Your Ista course crew and one of the things I talked about was dressing for the job that you WANT. It's an old saying but it really is the truth. You must dress your desk in the same way. For the job you want. We all crave careers that pay abundantly, especially if you are an entrepreneuress. Most of the time we work from home and just because you don't have co-workers or a boss that can judge your work space, you want to have it glamorous and professional looking so that if anyone did see it, it would look like a million bucks. If you are looking for a fresh start, to bring in more cash or to just feel more confident and inspired for your work day, give your work space the makeover it deserves.

Having a beautiful space to work is an obvious one. I prefer ones with a large top, like my dream desk is a huge mirrored dining table. Glass desks are always a chic option, too. There is something about them that feels powerful. This one is so beautiful.

Your throne is such an important part of your work environment. You want to feel like a boss. How fun would you feel working in a Mongolian fur directors chair?

Most people put a pair of chairs in an office for people to sit. I suggest changing things up and putting in a cozy sofa. A fabulous place to put pretty pillows, a cozy throw and possibly take a nap. I love anything velvet, grey and tufted.

Adequate lighting has everything to do with the vibe of your work space. I am a huge fan of natural light. It keeps you in sync with the day. If your office doesn't have the best light, get a beautiful lamp to enhance the light.
