Design Inspiration: London Contemporary by Louise Bradley

Lately I've been finding myself covering my clients bedrooms in beautiful grey wallpapers. I love the texture that wallpaper gives to a space, especially when done in a linen, silk, grasscloth, etc. In order to explain the effect that it has on a space, I search for images that explain visually how beautiful a wallcovered look can be. That's when I stumbled upon this image (above) and realized just how beautiful it can be. 

I fell madly in love with all of the interiors Louise Bradley has done and realized how much I love this London contemporary city style in a larger, more traditional home. I think this might be just how I would dress my dream home. 

I love the color palette in this home in every single room. Greys and Beiges as the neutral tones. Not too much pattern, just small hints. Lovely luxurious textures. Moments of black which are the epitome of sophistication in design. 

This entire space just makes me so inspired. 

House Tour: One Fifth Avenue by Tamara Magel

I first heard about Tamara Magel from my cousins who were obsessed with her design work. After seeing her portfolio, I have to admit, I had a little design crush on her too. She recently did work in one of my favorite buildings in NYC, One Fifth Avenue. The apartment of a power couple in finance and real estate, which is quite obvious when you take a look at the space. . .

I've never been a huge fan of white walls in the city but here she nails it with a gorgeous white sofa, killer marble coffee table and a few key accents. I adore that Hermes Blanket. I love the pop of rich violet in those incredible chairs. 

How about these amazing cobalt blue ones. It's a fantastic idea to let chair pack the punch of color for the space. Gold lighting also steals the show and sets the stage for glamour. The right lighting is what takes a space from ordinary to next level. 

I love this bedroom look. How luxurious does that fur throw look? It creates an element of texture to make the bedroom cozy and relaxing. 

The bathroom is modern and the gold lighting & accents just seal the deal.
