Over the holiday weekend I was invited to a friends lake house to celebrate America's birthday. The home was so lovely, I just couldn't help but think about having my very own home by the water. Something about being on the water is healing to the soul. Water is so peaceful, calming and makes you feel fresh and rested. I need more of that in my life. I'm completely inspired by the beachy glam vibe right now.
It could be a lake or a pool or the ocean, it doesn't matter to me. I really enjoy it all. The colors of beach life are so refreshing and harmonizing. Lots of linens, exposed wood, whites, neutrals, hints of greens and blues. . .I can dream up beach home decor for hours.
I came across this gorgeous neutral home and I love the layers of neutral mixed with greenery.
It just makes you want to curl up with a cup of coffee and a good book, no?
