Inspiration: 10 elegant fireplaces just in time for the holidays

I just can't help but share my latest Christmas decorating inspiration. I have been on a spree looking for a little bit of this and that. The fireplace is one of my favorite destinations to begin decorating for my clients, especially because I don't currently have one myself. It's the perfect place to begin styling to serve as the focal point for holiday fun. One of the very first things I do is begin lighting candles with holiday scents. My absolute favorite is Black Forest, everyone compliments my home when its burning. It's about the time to begin inviting friends over, get the fireplace going and really enjoy the season.

Holiday decorating inspiration: lovely & lavender

I live for Christmas. It's my absolute favorite holiday, however, I am not the biggest fan of the traditional holiday decor. Not that I didn't adore my grandparents home which was filled to the brim with decorations. It's just that in my adult years, I prefer a less traditional take on the look. When I spotted this beautiful home filled with lavender themed holiday decor, I gasped because it inspired me with a fresh take on holiday decorations.
