TIP ONE: Feng Shui your goals

A courtyard, lake dock, water fountain or any peaceful aesthetic is the perfect place to dream. Take time out of your week to dream. When you plan, visualize and write down your goals, do it by water. Water movement enhances and symbolizes abundance and overflow. You will fill yourself with prosperous energy and attract fortuitous outcomes for yourself and your life.

TIP TWO: Feng Shui your food

Good Feng Shui is only allowing the things that excite you to take part in your everyday life. Eating is one of the most consistent things we do. Most people eat at least 3 times a day. Be sure to eat only your most favorite + body nourishing foods. Dine gloriously by drinking out of your favorite glasses and using your most special dishes. Make sure the experience excites you! This gives you good energy which is exactly what you will attract. Good vibes only.

TIP THREE: Feng Shui your travels

Create a personal Feng Shui travel kit to ensure an enjoyable experience while traveling. Bring a travel candle, a beautiful journal and pen, a photo of loved ones or something that makes you smile, a silk scarf or small pillow, a book that will inspire you. These things give you the comforts of home and a sense of calm. When you are in this calm yet happy state, you are sure to get the best out of your vacation.

TIP FOUR: Feng Shui your karma

Create good karma by giving to a charity, your church or any other spiritual organization you believe in once a month. If finances aren’t available for giving, try actions. Take a few hours and help out a homeless shelter, give to a food drive or even plant a tree. Don’t throw away things or clutter from your home thinking thats all you need to do. Donate items you don’t use to a donation center with a good cause. Give for the sake of being a good giver. Here are ways to give back to your neighborhood.

TIP FIVE: Feng Shui your time

To make sure that you are getting the most out of your 24 hours, slow down. Slow down when you chew, to prevent an upset stomach and fatigue. Slow down when you walk, you may miss out on running into the right person, the first time. Slow down in your talking, you don’t want to speak too soon or say something you will waste energy regretting later. When you operate from a more calm place, usually things get done right and with intention, the first time around.

TIP SIX: Feng Shui your relationships

Spend little to no time with people who suck and deplete your energy. Toxic people and toxic situations should be regulated with boundaries. Only invest in friendships and relationships that give to you as much as they take. It should be an equal balance of investment on both ends. Otherwise, you may find yourself stuck in ruts, feeling exhausted, losing enthusiasm or filled with unnecessary anxiety.

TIP SEVEN: Feng Shui your mind

Everything is energy. Everything we do and think about causes a series of events that determine what shapes our lives. We can start our mental decluttering by meditation and prayer. What really helps getting our brain fully clear is writing everything down. The things that pop in your head that you must do, want to do, discussions you should have, phone calls you want to make.

Write them down in your journal or you can use this beautiful journal I made for you. Every morning, determine what really needs to get done and what doesn't really matter. Be strategic in terms of your priorities and only do things that are going to add and give value to your energy.

I am a total passionista and one of my favorite things to do is coach my students to fuel their passions, live out their dreams and reach them successfully. ( Hello, unleash your ista students! ) One of the most common things I notice when working with my one-on-one clients via Skype are disheveled home offices. One of the first things we tackle is the work space. How can you expect your work life to soar to success when everything in your office is a mess? It just doesn't work. So, I've pulled together a little reference guide and list for you to use to spruce up your home office.

Place your desk correctly. Try to place your desk in a command position, meaning not directly in front of the door but facing it, and not facing a wall or window. If you have to put your desk against the wall, put a larger mirror in front of you. That does two things: You can see behind you and it makes you feel like you can move forward and you’re not getting stuck. And positioning yourself so that you can see who is entering your office allows you to be prepared for whatever business comes your way. You don't want to be missing out on potential opportunities. Choose the right colors. There is no perfect color for your home office. You will have to determine what is right for you and what nourishes your working soul. Are you an artist? Choose white walls, which represents a blank canvas and will inspire your visions. Are you a healthinista? Try a soft shade of green for your walls to encourage health and vitality. Are you a love coach? Try pink to inspire thoughts of love and romance. Are you a business strategist or consultant, use navy or black and encourage knowledge and wisdom. Enhance inspiration with wood. Wood is an element that promotes creativity and symbolizes loyalty. Use either a wood desk or a wood chair and try to place something wood in the east corner of the room. This will inspire your creativity and ensure loyal customers or followers.

Boost productivity with fire. Fire is the strongest of all the elements. It is one that represents activity and passion. Burn a few candles in your office to keep the smell energizing and to promote productivity.

Manifest money. Place metallic colors in the west side of the space. All metals symbolize and attract money. Silver, brass, steel, etc. However, be careful to not over do it. Over indulgence of anything will knock off the Chi.

Inspire easy communication. Water symbolizes good communication. You can use a mirror, water fountain or fishbowl. Or why not display a piece of art in your office of water? I love a good ol' Slim Aarons print any day.

Bring in the harmony. Plants in any environment symbolize harmony. If you feel your office is off balance or you prefer a little bit of a disorganized mess, just bring in a plant. Best option, bamboo.

De-clutter and organize. Constantly be ridding your office of paper and objects you no longer use or need. Keep a pretty file cabinet for extra files. Also, keep your computer desktop clutter free and create an orderly file system.
