Last night I was watching the Sex and the City 2 movie with a friend, Carrie + Samantha went shopping and I thought it was so funny when Carrie said "I'm cheating on fashion with furniture". Right then I felt that statement should be my lifelong motto of life. My lifelong dream is to have a huge warehouse closet full of my favorite furnishings. A chic studio/showroom.

+ Design studio. My girl Julia Buckingham, a fab blogger/designer in Chicago, did just that. In the October issue of Lonny, her chic studio/showroom was featured + I am super excited I got to catch a glimpse. How fab is the space? I think its high time I make a little trip to Chicago.

She coined her style with the cool name, Modernique. Modern/Unique. That's exactly why this shop is so good. I always love a mix thats well done. I am also really digging the purple art.
