As I get older, I am realizing how much I am longing for life by the beach. To just wake up everyday looking out at the ocean is really something I want to experience more of. Perhaps I am growing up to be a mermaid. I am also very fond of luxury and living the hotel lifestyle. I am passionate about hotel life at home so when I do get the opportunity to travel, I take full advantage.
I love the sounds and smells of the ocean, so when I discovered this beautiful hotel Casa Cook, I knew this is exactly what I have been longing for. This year it seems that faded wall colors are really trending. I suspect its due to our longing for comfort in these times. Something about softer doses of color are really what our souls need. The colors of the sky, the sand, the ocean and the sunset. . .all really are faded versions of the respective colors.
Connecting with earth is always something gives us feelings of comfort, grounding and balance. I think the beautiful design of this hotel really reflects that feeling. I could just imagine myself with a cup of coffee, design magazines and my favorite books lounging here all day.
I also really relate to this picture. Nothing beats Vitamin D. I am so ready for a Spring retreat.
