It’s about that time guys…. Bed Time.

Fall is the time where I like to get my bed all cozy and delicious. Days are shorter and bed time just seems to be longer. These days, as a mama, sleep is absolutely everything to me. I just can’t get enough of it.

I absolutely love my bedroom set up. My favorite bed ever, you can grab that here. I am also obsessed with my boho textured pillow.

I have always been a big fan of a nighttime routine. I even have my little baby on his own night routine. I think it serves everyone in the family in the best way. Here are a few things I do to get ready for an amazing nights sleep…

Take a bath. I always love a nice hot bath ( I like it really, really hot) with some bath salts. My go to bath salt is Dr. Teals. I like Lavender and Eucalyptus. I also add the bubble bath soak for the bubble effect. It just isn’t a relaxing bath without bubbles, am I right?
Put on something cozy. After I do my face routine, which consists of a lot of creams (more on that in another post), I put on cozy pajamas. I want to be as comfortable as possible when I sleep, so the cozier the better. All Summer I have been wearing a robe which has massive amounts of spit up stains, so I am in the market for some new pjs and this set is on my radar. P.S. I also sleep with a Tempupedic Pillow and I am absolutely obsessed with it. You must look into stepping up your pillows!
Get Calm. I went to the dentist recently and learned that I grind my teeth at night. No bueno. The doc suggested I begin taking magnesium supplements. I did a little research and ordered myself some Natural Calm in Cherry flavor. I add it to warm water at night before bed and it keeps me feeling relaxed and regular. This stuff is life changing.
Write my lists. On my phone, I am obsessed with the Reminders app. I use it to get everything out of my brain before I fall asleep. I’ll write gratitude lists, manifesting lists, affirmations, things to do, etc. Doing this helps me sleep so much better.
Feed my mind. Reading will have me falling asleep in under 3 minutes. I don’t know what it is but when I don’t watch tv before sleep and I read, I sleep better. I am currently reading the latest issue of Oprah magazine.

Anyway, right now I am all about bedding. So, lets discuss what bedding I have my eye on right now and why……..

Let me just start with this bed. I am sort of over the traditional looking headboards and have been wanting something a little different. This gorgeous bed is the perfect look for me. It also comes in teal and blush. Hello, a gorgeous color combination.

In Spring and Summer, there is nothing better than crisp white bedding but for Fall, I love patterns and I love to layer. How beautiful are these embroidered sheets? They remind me of my grandmother, she loved details on bedding like this.

I absolutely love a velvet duvet cover for the colder months, something about it warms up the room. This one from PB is beautiful, it comes in blush and gray.

Here is another one you can grab at Nordstrom, I think its really pretty too. I also love the vintage shade of deep sea blue. I think the muted colors this Fall are really beautiful.

It’s no secret I am obsessed with the Barefoot Dreams leopard throw, but this one reminds me of a moroccan rug and is pretty too. It may be nice for a more neutral room.
