Ever since I became a mom, the holiday season has become something that I spend all year getting ready for. Every holiday is so much more alive for me. Starting with Halloween, we begin decorating the house as soon as the decor hits the shelves of the stores.
In addition to the home decor, the Halloween costume conversation has already begun. We love to dress up all week long, for the parties, the school events and for the trick or treating fun. We love to include friends and family, so, it is important we have a theme that the whole gang can get excited about.

Comfort: Don’t forget to consider the weather conditions, ease of movement, and flexibility and also the comfort of the costumes. Bulky, heavy or thick material costumes might not be the best choice, especially if you plan to attend outdoor events or go trick-or-treating.
DIY vs. Store-Bought: You will also want to determine whether you want to create DIY costumes or opt for store-bought options. DIY Halloween costumes allow for a lot more personality and creativity, but they can also take up a lot of your time. Store-bought costumes are easier but also might be hard to find specific things to go with the theme that you choose.
