One of my favorite things to shop for when it comes to my design clients are accent chairs. It's always important to have a particular chair for a client to read a book, have a glass of wine or a special place to sit and think. It's like a queen and her throne, its a must have. The best part is choosing one that not only fits the look of the space but fits my clients personality so they will actually want to sit in the chair. I can't tell you how many clients I have come across that have chairs, they just never get sat in.
You want your throne to be comfortable, exciting, inviting and beautiful! Then you can adorn your chair and make it into a cozy little reading nook. Currently I am on the hunt for several chairs for clients so I'm going to share with my a few of my favorite places to find them.
Viyet is one of my favorites because you can find designer chairs for a fraction of the price and some of them are original with amazing bones and luxurious fabrics. I like for chairs to be unique and fun because chairs after all, are like the shoes of a room!
My personal favorite is more of a french style chair, I may or may not be a bit of a Francophile. I currently have my eye on this beauty, from Chairish. Another fabulous place to shop. Ebth is great too!
I always love to place an accent chair by a window because it offers you the opportunity to daydream and get some natural light. Nothing is more healing than nature, so staring at your trees, view or clouds can't hurt.
