I've always been a fan of the color pink in interiors. Something about it adds femininity and elegance. While it may not be realistic to paint your walls pink or buy a pink sofa, you can always add a pink chair. One thing that I think is essential in every home is a good well designed reading nook. I have an E-decorating client right now, that doesn't have a place to read, sip tea, journal, etc. I know what you're thinking 'that's a huge part of achieving domestic bliss, right?!' Right! Her and her husband are young and fun and their home has lots of exposed wood. So, I thought we could jazz it up a little and get some glam elements into the space. So she can make her tea and have a place to sip it too.
Here are what I envision for an eclectic casual look...
[caramel zebra print rug] - I adore how neutral this rug is, it can go with ANY style of decor.
[tufted teal chair] - I'm very into this style of chair for myself, the high arms keep you snuggled in.
