As we go through March and the Spring into Success workshop, I've been noticing more and more the correlation of Spring cleaning with the planets, stars, etc. Instagram has completely changed how we approach each day with quotes and information of what is going on in the world right into our feeds.
I have narrowed my feed down to only the most positive and uplifting accounts. What I have noticed happening around the Insta world is all this talk about Venus retrograde. It lasts from March 4 to April 15.

How does this apply to decorating and Feng Shui? Well, all things beauty, love and romance are associated with the color pink, especially a soft shade of blush pink. Spring is a time to refresh your home decor, so put away those heavy Winter patterns and textiles. Pull back the curtains and allow all the soft natural sunlight flood in. Now, through beauty and love we can slowly add in moments of blush pink to the home.
Perhaps you want to add fresh pink flowers, light lovely smelling pink candles, soaps and hand washes. Anything that enhances beauty and self care and love. I love adding beautiful silk and velvet pillows, perhaps you can get yourself a beautiful pink journal to write in or pretty pink pens.

I am big on the pink salt lamps in the home, they provide such a beautiful glow. I also love to listen to Tibetan chakra balancing music while cleaning and cooking food. You can listen to my playlist here.
If you aren't a fan of the color pink, its okay you can just temporarily use it in the home. If you love pink like I do, perhaps you could recover a chair, add in a cool rug or bring in new bedding. I am in love with this blush pink bedding.
Venus retrograde is totally the time to make extra effort taking care of your self. There is nothing I love more than taking detox salt baths. They are relaxing, cleansing and completely uplifting, try a few of these really pretty bath time treats. . .
