Crystals are powerhouses for good energy, especially in Feng Shui. They bring the energy of abundance from deep within the Earth. Each one carries a specific energetic vibration along with it which can act and an aid or a supplement for your life. Think of crystals as vitamins for your soul.

The best part is that crystals work hand in hand with Feng Shui, you can use specific crystals to help raise the vibration of your home. If you are new to Feng Shui or haven’t really ever heard of it, don’t worry, I am going to give you a few Feng Shui basics to help you apply this stuff easily.

Let’s take it back for a minute. So, the other day my girlfriend was asking me how to make her home feel more calm and zen. I immediately suggested we take a look at her layout and apply the rules of the Feng Shui Bagua Map. Naturally it overwhelmed her and she was ready to give up. I knew I had to break it down to a more practical level. So, I told her if I could pick ONE area of them home to start when looking to change the energy in your home, it would hands down be the coffee table!

Here’s why: you can walk into anyone’s home and learn a lot about them by the contents of their coffee table. The coffee table holds most of the things you interact with on a daily basis. Your coffee table tends to be the grounding force of a home, it draws to it a lot of energy from other people who enter or live in your home. It’s where conversations are had, lots of energy moving around it, etc. If coffee tables could talk……am I right? Also, most of the time, the coffee table is situated in the center of a room. According to the Feng Shui Bagua Map, the center of the room is related to HEALTH & WELLNESS. Your health is the most important thing you have. It beats out all of the other areas. So your coffee table is almost like a secret weapon that you can use to enhance the Health & Wellness area of your home.

Needless to say, the coffee table is definitely an important part of your home. It’s an altar of sorts. You can take one look on Pinterest and get a ton of ideas for stylish ways to decorate it well. A few tips for good coffee table Feng Shui:

+ Less is more. Make sure that your coffee table has an organized, simplified vibe. Clutter is a health killer.

+ Books are always a good staple. Choosing books by the images on the cover and the title will say a lot about your current interests or things that are meaningful to you.

+ Flowers will bring life and happy energy to the center of your home. The color of flowers can also enhance your life. Yellow is a great color for health, pink is the color of love and happiness, green and purple are great colors for money and abundance. Make sure your vase is beautiful and something you love looking at every single day.

+ Candles are always a good look and they brighten up the vibe with beautiful scents. Bonus: the flame of a candle not only makes you look good but it also brings energy to that area of the bagua, so when you’re health needs a spark, a candle will help to do that. + Crystals should be a go-to move for everything in your life but especially in your home decor. Not only are they absolutely gorgeous, they bring such high vibe energy to everything around it. I am always shopping for new crystals, eager to give them specific intentions. I find that keeping a crystal or two on the coffee table will do a few things: 1) make it look especially glamorous 2) make a great conversation starter 3) people with beautiful energy will always be attracted to crystals so you will be able to see who in your life has a really attuned energy 4) they can specifically help you to enhance your health. 5) Instead of being hidden in a corner, drawers or quiet rooms, they will be out shining brightly and able to work better in your living space.

WHAT CRYSTALS YOU SHOULD USE

SELENITE: This crystal is great for the coffee table because it it a cleansing crystal. It will help you to keep your energy clean and clear. When it comes to your health, you don’t want anything weighing you down so its a true gem. I am in love with this selenite candle holder and can’t wait to get one for my coffee table and dining table.

AMETHYST: This gorgeous crystal is purple which is the color of abundance. Abundant flow is exactly what you want when you are looking to feel vibrant, happy and healthy because lack is the opposite of abundance. Allow this crystal to serve as a reminder that life is meant to be abundant.

CLEAR QUARTZ: Clear quartz is highly prized for its ability to clear the mind of negativity to enhance higher spiritual receptiveness. It is considered the master of all healing crystals due to its ability to magnify or amplify healing vibrations of other crystals. I like to keep a few of these near other crystals for a boost.

AGATE SLICES: The center area of your home or room is enhanced by Earth energy, so any crystals would do well in this area. However, a slice is a great representation of “the inside”, the area of your body most important for your wellness. A beautiful crystal plate like this is a fantastic example or perhaps a set of geode coasters.
