A few weeks ago, I explained to you all my current crush on black and gold chinoiserie items in the home. You can read the post here. I wanted to show you guys because I am thrilled they are finally in my bedroom. Pardon these pictures, the light is so bright, I had to tone them down.
Anyway, in my bedroom before, I had some mirrored cube nightstands, which I loved. I just had them for so long and felt that I wanted something fresh for Spring. Spring is all about getting rid of the old so you can make way for the new. They were the only things in my bedroom that I was willing to part with.
I am so in love with these beauties, they are fun, fresh and add an element of bohemian glamour that my bedroom was needing. My bedroom was needing some whimsy in a major way and a touch of glamorous gold really gave me what I was needing.
Again, the light is so bright its hard to see, but I wanted to give you a full spectrum so you could see the vibe.
