There is absolutely no way we can really flourish ( for ourselves AND our family ) if we don't have a home that's in harmony with who are and who we want to be. Which is why I love design and decorating so much, I could just look at homes for hours. With Spring in the air, I've been keeping an eye out for homes with a bold and beautiful mix of colors. I came across this beautifully bold dining room from Hi Sugarplum's One Room Challenge. It just radiates life and the vibrant colors of Spring!
Recently, with some of my virtual design clients, I've seen how much they can second guess themselves when it comes to color decisions. Neutral tones are really trendy right now but if you have any call to color, don't be afraid to use it... boldly. Color is healing to the soul and the body. We can't live our best lives by designing our homes around what other people are doing. Trust your intuition. It's never a good idea to play it safe when it comes to decorating your home with soul.
