A life-changing hack to RAISE the vibe at home

Yesterday I listened to a talk with 2 psychiatrists discussing the effects that the Covid-19 quarantine & working from home is having on our overall mental health. Statistics were just released on domestic abuse reports in Houston, Texas. There was an 81% increase in domestic abuse reports in March 2020, compared to March 2019. That is some serious increase.

But it isn’t really that surprising, is it?

It’s like all of a sudden, everyone is at home. 24/7. So if you aren’t used to being stuck indoors all day, everyday, with someone, whether it be family, relationships or roommates…..how are you supposed to adapt? It’s a huge life shock for all of us.

So now more than ever, we are forced to confront all of those awkward feelings that we have with others and on top of that, with ourselves. It’s a great time to really uncover all the hidden parts of your relationships that need healing and attention. It’s important that we use this time wisely so that when this quarantine is over, we can adjust into our new normal with a confident peace within.

In an effort to help you get deeper into your post-corona, personal life up-level, I want to encourage you to look beyond the typical relationships in your life and really open up to your relationship between you and your home.

How do you feel about being at home? Does it brighten you up or make you stressed? The way your home affects you and those living with you can truly wreak havoc on your life experience. You want to do anything and everything you can possibly do to make your home a happy, vibrant and high vibe place to be so that you all don’t hate each other by the time quarantine is over.

We all know how much I love talking about the home. Feng Shui is the relationship between you and your home and I am passionate about sharing how to incorporate it and what has worked for me. Today, I want to teach you one way you can begin to put the Feng Shui energy at work into your space. I recently posted a video on Instagram TV sharing how to use the modern Bagua Map (the feng shui energy map) in your home. This post can also give you some helpful insight as well.

A home quarantine is the perfect opportunity to begin to create little shifts in your home that translate out into your life. Now that you have the time, your work within the four walls of your home should be purposeful and intentional. When I wanted big changes in my life, I painted my apartment walls all black to help create drastic change. Making changes to your home like that, helps bring about changes in your life, and Feng Shui helps to ensure that you make the right ones.

Here is an easy exercise you can do, at home, to bring in Feng Shui energy and up-level your life in every area:

1. Create your Bagua Map layout. Grab a notebook and draw the layout of your home or if you have a digital copy, go print it out. Next, make yourself familiar with the Bagua Map (use the B2B Western version). As you begin to draw out the bagua map, be sure to line up the correct area (the Wisdom/Career/Travel end) with your front door or entrance of your space. You can use this guide for your reference.

2. Use the Bagua to feel. Take your new map with you to the front door and begin to walk throughout your home, clockwise. As you go around your home, look to see how each area of your home makes you feel & how that feeling relates to that area of your life. For example, as you walk through your Wealth & Abundance area, what is the vibe of it and think about how that relates to the current state of your wealth and income. Is it beautiful, clean and happy or could it use some attention and care?

3. Write down your up-level list. As you go through each area, write down 3 ways you would like to see an up-level in that area of your life. For example, if your finances aren’t up to your liking, how could that improve? What would you like to see? As you begin to make a list of how you want your life to improve, you should see an opportunity for improvement in that area of your home. Could your wealth area use a little de-cluttering or perhaps just some cleaning and organization? Maybe it could use a Feng Shui money tree or a pyrite crystal. (Crystals can actually do wonders for you when it comes to Feng Shui & enhancing the energy of your home) Could your love corner reflect a clean, softer, more romantic vibe? The thing to remember is as you move things out, new, awesome opportunities are welcomed in. When you make small changes, big shifts can begin to appear.

One of my girlfriends used this quarantine time to create a home workout station out of an empty corner that needed love because she wants to improve her health and fitness. It seems like common sense, right?

AN IMPORTANT REMINDER:

There is a difference between knowing what you need to do and actually doing it. The completion of your actions helps to amplify your energy and cause shifts in your life. You can read books about dieting and know all the information but until you actually start eating better, there isn’t an energetic shift to get you on your way. Sometimes you have to throw out your junk food, organize your pantry, clean your fridge and fill it with healthy foods. There is always a way to shake up your life by enhancing and organizing your home. Feng Shui is the shortcut to making it work. Using the wisdom of Feng Shui is the ultimate immersive manifesting modality!

Full Moon Ritual: How to cleanse your crystals

By harnessing the energies of crystals, you can promote balance, self-discovery, emotional healing, and a deeper connection to the universe around you.

WHY CLEANSE or CHARGE YOUR CRYSTALS?

A Full Moon is typically the best time to cleanse your crystals. When the full moon arrives, it’s time to create space to take stock of what has and hasn’t come to fruition just yet. I use this time to release the energy of things that no longer serve me.

A full moon is a time to get quiet, reflect, and celebrate. Unlike the new moon, the full moon represents fruitfulness and completeness and brings with it a lot of manifesting energy.

So, if you have crystals, I want to use this post to teach you how to cleanse and charge them up with the Full Moon energy, so they can heal you and your home and help you create the life that you want. WHY CRYSTALS?

The Connection Between Crystals and Lunar Energy

Crystals are believed to absorb, store, and transmit energy. This energy can be harnessed to enhance various aspects of our lives. The full moon, with its radiant glow and heightened energy, offers a unique opportunity to infuse crystals with its potent vibrations.

CLEANSING YOUR CRYSTALS:

Each crystal has its own specific energy, its own frequency that when placed in the proper position can completely change its environment. There are crystals for everything you can think of or need. Crystals to protect you, to manifest money, to attract love, promote happiness and joy, even crystals to help you de-clutter with ease. 

In preparing to use crystals in your home, you always want to work with cleansed crystals. Cleansing your crystal is meant to cleanse all prior energies attached to that crystal, from anyone else’s energy it might have picked up. When your crystal is purified and cleansed, it can take on your intentions in a greater capacity.

How to Charge Your Crystals in the Full Moon

Charging your crystals in the full moon is a simple yet impactful practice. Here's how to do it:

1. Choose a Suitable Spot: Find a spot where your crystals will be exposed to the moonlight. This could be a windowsill, outdoor space, or any area where they can safely receive the moon's energy.

2. Cleanse Your Crystals: Before charging, ensure your crystals are clean. You can do this by rinsing them under cool water or smudging them with sage or palo santo.

3. Set Your Intentions: Take a moment to set your intentions for your crystals. Reflect on what you hope to achieve with their energies and what you're seeking guidance for.

4. Place Your Crystals: Arrange your cleansed crystals in a way that they will receive direct moonlight. If possible, leave them outside overnight.

5. Retrieve Your Crystals: In the morning, retrieve your crystals. They are now charged with the moon's energy and your intentions.

5 WAYS TO CLEANSE YOUR CRYSTALS:

1. In the Moonlight.

   You can cleanse your crystals inner energy the best by placing them outside beneath the moonlight, overnight. You can also put them in the window if you don’t have easy access to an outside space. They call this charging up your crystals.

   It cleanses and re-calibrates their energy. This gets your crystal powers seriously amplified. The evening of a Full Moon is the optimal time to cleanse your crystals because the energy is super potent. It’s the moon that pulls the ocean waves, so a Full Moon has the strongest energetic effect.

2. With Smoke.

   Each time you buy a new crystal, a unanimously safe way to cleanse it, is by wafting cleansing herbal smoke (like sage or palo santo) all around the crystal. I do this weekly because it works really well on the black crystals which are your protection stones (black obsidian, black onyx and black tourmaline).

3. Use Water.

If your stones are tumbled and not water soluble, you can rinse them under water to physically clean them. If they’re fragile, brittle or raw, use a soft toothbrush to gently scrub away anything that doesn’t belong. Since raw crystals are dug up from the earth, it’s natural to have some dirt and earth matter on them! You do not want any dust piling up on them, keep them very clean. They’re sensitive after all.  

4. Selenite or other purification crystals.

Selenite is like a Super Crystal. It is the ultimate purification crystal. Selenite can actually cleanse other crystals. I keep my crystal jewelry on Selenite sticks to cleanse their energy while I am not wearing them. I like to keep selenite in the windows always as they help purify the home too. You can store selenite near or next to your other crystals to keep them cleansed on a daily basis.

5. Sound.

My favorite local crystal shop always uses their bells or gong to cleanse the crystal. Sound vibrations shake up every energetic vibe around it. This can be accomplished by using singing bowls, a tuning fork, or even a nice bell. It doesn’t matter what key the sound is, so long as the sound emitted is loud enough for the vibration to fully encompass the stone. This is really great for cleansing several crystals at the same time.

Which is your favorite method to cleanse your crystals?

SETTING YOUR INTENTIONS:

Once you crystals are cleansed, you need to fill them with your intentions because they take on the energy of those who interact with them. So you will want to be really clear and focused on how you use them. 

I like to pick them up and hold them with my hands. Close your eyes and speak your intentions to them. It may seem silly at first but once you practice doing this, you will begin to feel the energy exchange between you and your crystals. There does come a point where you fall in love with them and feel weird without them.
