With the Spring cleaning vibes in full effect, I'm going to do several posts about curating and styling up your home in a clutter free way. After all, keeping your space clutter free is essential for a successful and stylish lifestyle. When you don't care for your things and treat them properly, it blocks you from getting more.
Getting your stuff together is the ultimate abundance attracter. So, my Unleash Your Ista-er Marina Cheban of Cheban Interiors is giving us a peek inside her studio and all of her secrets to creating this killer AND clutter free accessories closet. You can do all of this for not much money and get your stuff looking pulled together and fabulous.
Here's how:
Start with getting these bookcases from IKEA, the Billy Oxberg with glass doors, run about $160 each (she used 2). Then to up the glam factor she added these crystal pulls to each door. Also, on a few of the shelves she put a few of these jewelry trays to organize her favorite gems. This keeps all her loose things collected together and easy to view.
Next, Marina encourages (like me) that a good zebra rug is always going to give massive style. If that black one isn't your thing, this gold one is so chic too. A gold garden stool is one of those staples in a home and it makes the perfect accent and a step stool to reach the high things. This one is a steal for $99.
Now make sure that as you organize your new accessory closet, you throw out or donate anything that is NO LONGER working for you. Things that are not in good condition or things that you haven't even looked at in over 6 months. Place items neatly, not on top of each other to ensure proper care for your things. Taking care of what you have keeps your life more glamorous and curated.
