Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone. Today's holiday usually has me craving a Mexico vacation however, over the Christmas break, I took my first trip to the Dominican Republic. Ever since that magical trip I have been obsessed with going back and visiting other parts of the island. Celerie Kemble, one of my fave decorista goddesses, decked out the DR hotel Playa Grande Beach Club fit for any preppy boheme. Since I am all about the bohemian vibe this week, I wanted to muse about the vibe of this incredible hotel. . .
Pastels and white walls really make the amazing beach vibe going on in this resort. It just makes me want to throw on a caftan and sunnies and breeze through the halls and admire all the unique objects. . .
I'm not always the biggest fan of layering prints and patterns, I am much more of a classic girl. However, I like what Celerie did here with the patterns in softer hues so its not so overwhelming.
