You may or may not remember that over Christmas break I read Khloe Kardashians book "strong looks better naked" and I actually really liked it. It completely gave me a whole new perspective on her and a whole new perspective on health & fitness. I've always had a love for health & fitness but I typically find myself going in and out of obsessions with it. For a few months I'll do pilates, then it will be yoga, for about 2 years I was a Soul-cycle-a-holic. The list goes on and on. You see, I get very bored when it comes to fitness.
Now that I am getting a little older, I've realized that I need to make a more solid commitment when it comes to my fitness and workout routine. After reading Khloe's book and getting inspired by her body and workouts (because like miss khloe, I'm not a skinny girl), I have totally gotten back into getting my butt in the gym. Going hard core with my workouts because as much as I love trendy workouts and group classes, I really do love strength training with weights. It makes me feel strong and powerful.
I've also been on a roll with clearing out clutter, organizing my schedule and simplifying my life. So, it came as no surprise to me when Self put out a spread on Khloe's workout closet. Are you kidding me?! If only I had an entire room to dedicate to my fitness. Good for her though. Although I can only dream of a closet like this, It really inspired me to get better about organizing EVERYTHING in my life, especially my work out gear. So that I can get ready with ease in the AM, remember to take my supplements and always have a fresh workout look. Keeping yourself inspired constantly is key to staying committed and on track with anything you do in life. I even have a "workin' on my fitness" Pinterest page of course.
Check out the water bottle fridge. Is that insane or what? I can't hate though because I literally have to remind myself to drink water everyday to stay hydrated. It's kind of a genius idea.
I loved the book Strong looks better naked. A Nike running top like this is so chic. Black Nike running shoes are my go to. All is right in the world if you have a Gold water bottle. Everyone swears by the Manduka yoga mats. I am absolutely obsessed with this Syntha 6 protein, my trainer swears by it. I drink my protein out of a pink blender bottle. I have these Nike sports bras in every color. I have a heavier top so I need strong and durable. Definitely download MyFitnessPal app, it totally supports you in your fitness life.
