It's around this time of year where I begin to get a longing for an exotic vacation. One where silence is valued and practiced. I can remember a few years ago while in the Amalfi coast, the beaches were so quiet. It was the most intoxicating experience. I often find myself dreaming of owning a secluded beach house, where everything would be decorated in all whites, nudes, earthy & exotic vibes. The warm weather and cool breeze would just enchant my soul. Today, I'm taking you on a little inspirational journey with me so you can see what I am currently loving. . .

Fashion inspiration...the many shades of nude

With fashion week in Paris and NY happening in February, I've got fashion on the brain. I'm always more of a fan of street style than the actual runway shows, but I do get very excited each season for color palates, lines, cultural influences, etc. Right now, I'm all about monochromatic looks and the many shades of nude. 

I'm usually one who wears black jackets, leather or wool, I love them. Although with the new year, why shouldn't I try something new? I am all about camel coats right now, I so need one. 

I love the way black goes with nude shades, there is something very chic about that combo. I also like mixing shades of browns together, for the darker looks of nude.
