How to make your bed, the hotel way

During Springtime, it's always about fresh and new beginnings and with that I like to do bedroom makeovers. I absolutely love new bedding. This Spring Calvin Klein Gazelle collection has launched and I just had to outfit my bed in this gorgeous beige collection.There is a soft sheen to the duvet and pillows that just look amazing in my bedroom, especially against my black walls. 

I don't believe that you have to spend an arm and a leg on bedding, but I do believe that you should invest in your bedding with the best that you can afford. My sheets are always luxuriously soft. Everyone who knows me, knows that I am a NUT about good bedding and making up my bed everyday. The great thing about beautiful bedding, is that its fun to look at when your bed is all made up. You know that feeling, when you walk into a hotel room and the bed is made up and looks beautiful. It just makes you feel like a rock star. You can totally achieve this at home & I am going to show you how.

1. I have been working my butt off this week. I think there is something in the sunshine that just gives me motivation. Sunshine makes me such a happy and excited girl.

3. I was honored to be in the Dallas Morning News again. This time around talking about bookcase style. Check out my sexy bookcase...she's such a stunner.

5. How great are mornings with coffee and glossy decor magazines? It literally is a feeling that gives me life. I could do it all weekend.

7. I had the amazing pleasure of redoing a clients office. We used wet lacquer teal blue walls + framed Hermes scarves for massive color. Glam mixed with modern. I'm still obsessing over it. 

8. How freaking cool is this metallic toilet? I almost died. 

9. This is my current bath situation. Lucite accents + a champagne ice bucket for a trash can. Wouldn't that rose gold metallic toilet be so good to mix in here? Mine is plain jane white. I've never felt so underwhelmed by my toilet before. Random, I know.
