10 things that rocked my world. 10.1.16

1. It's been quite the beginning to Fall for me. I've spent this week working, shopping and sourcing in Round Top, Texas. I've come across so many new and unique finds I have so much in my arsenal. I fell in love with a bunch of art, especially these works by Lisa Bolin. 

2. This has been decorista headquarters this week. I love being surrounded by beautiful antiques. If you are on the VIP love letter list, then you know what I have learned out here. Some really good stuff, be sure to keep with me there. 

3. Of the many unique finds from all over, I am most smitten with the minerals and crystals around here. Especially the pink cobaltoan calcite. 

4. I was really into this color palette. Grey walls. Hints of mixed metallics and black of course. 

5. I fell in love with this little vignette from Feliz Interiors Houston. It's the perfect mix of new and antique together. I am all about the mix. 

6. For instance, my coffee mugs are always a mix of new things and old. It creates such a dynamic vibe. I recently watched IRIS on Netflix and made me love the art of the mix even more. My little malachite mug from L'object is my current obsession. Green just looks so good next to black, no?

7. This room is another example of a fabulous mix. This is just like the perfect outfit. I don't know who the designer is but I want my bedroom vibes to be just like this. . .

8. This is my inspiration for the office area in my condo. So elegant, crisp and glam. 

9. Everyone has been asking about these crystal tea light holders. You can get something just like it from this shop and if you love amethyst, get similar ones here. 

10. I am so in LOVE with my coaching clients right now. Something about the fresh start for Fall is giving everyone a little boost of extra energy to take their lives to a new level. This quote says it all! What one small change can you make in your life today?

1. Working from home is the ultimate joy! Pretty much everyday I feel the blessing that it is. Especially because your home office gets to be as fabulous as you want it to be. How fabulous is the guest area in my NYC home office? Get the look:

3. Last month, I attended the opening of the new Tile Bar showroom in Manhattan. Which, by the way, I highly recommend going to for some really glam tile inspiration. It was so fabulous to see all of the new tile collections designed by some of my favorite designers. One being Lisa Escobar (above) who is a fab designer in Las Vegas and totally a style sister of mine. 

So, I also very quickly want to give a shout out to Ms. Lisa Ferguson, who wrote this fab write up in the Las Vegas review journal. Calling me "celebrity interior design blogger". . .you made my day, makes me feel so fancy. It was so sweet, thank you so much!

6. Okay so my new Aqua Di Parma candle is the BOMB. It smells like a deliciously fab light exotic amber scent, my brother walked in the room and went "woah, that smells gooooood!" You want to impress people with the smell of your home? Get this candle and thank me later. 

7. Did you see my new fabulous black moroccan rug? I know, its amazing. The find of the century. They stopped making it so I am even more in love. Also, I am totally digging the new Decorate for a Party book by Holly Becker + Leslie Shewring. A fun weekend read. 

8. This high rise apartment is literally Top 5 of my favorite spaces ever. I keep looking for more pics of it and I finally found the designers instagram @mrcurtiselmy Check it out.

9. Picking out light fixtures + wallpaper for one of my Dallas clients and this combo is the WIN! I'm obsessed. 

10. My sister, the most fabulous artist,  has been working on some commissions and I want to steal this one for my new condo. What do we think???
