Lately Loving: mixing in silver & chrome

I have always been a girl who absolutely adores metallics, especially the gold variety. I've also never been shy of mixing different metallics in a room and even when it comes to fashion. However, lately I have seen a resurgence of chrome and silver accents and I am really digging it. Take a look at Jessica Alba's guest home, decorated by Constort Design. The soft blue walls play the perfect backdrop to mixing gold and silver accents. I have a feeling that we will be seeing silver and chrome are definitely hot this next year.

Halloween weekend is approaching us soon and I can't wait to get in the spirit. I'm not big on a ton of Halloween decor but I do enjoy chic gothic accents during the Fall. I like to edit my wardrobe according to the season and begin to display things that look good with my outfits.
