I've decided that I am going on a semi social media detox. I've just gotten in the habit of picking up my phone and spending way too much time on my feeds. I don't like it. However, the other day on instagram, I found this amazing room, see above, and I stopped dead in my tracks. THIS ROOM IS AMAZING. It had me salivating for some black lacquer walls. . . and maybe a neon sign too.
Naturally, I went straight to the internet to feed my desires for black lacquer. Doesn't it just look rich and glamorous and even a little elegant?
Ugh. I just love it all so much. Here is a real winner. Black lacquer doors with white walls! Oh yes. Give me the goodness.

1. Jonathan Adler has a new line of black lacquer chairs. How fab is this one with the pop of aqua? 2. Black lighting is the ultimate in glamour, a pair of these tall lamps would look so good in any space. 3. I am obsessed with boxes, this black one with crystals on top is perfection. 4. Who doesn't want a black tulip table? I love these in an entryway. 5. This black chest has forever been my favorite thing ever. 6. Why not throw a chic little buddha head for fun? 7. Oud is one of my favorite smells, its masculine and rich. This candle is enchanting. 8. I sometimes like to match my nail color to my wall color so black lacquer nails are SO necessary. 9. This black tray with white trim is so chic.
