Sunday Charm: Dreaming in pink

I have always dreamed of a house with all pink walls. When I spotted this gorgeous space with pink plaster walls. These are the things I enjoy doing on a lazy Sunday morning in bed. I’m cozy in my sheets, coffee in hand, dreaming of what breakfast would be like in this beautiful space.

My eyes are immediately drawn to the emerald green bentwood chairs against the blush plaster walls. I also love that the plaster walls allow the rest of the space to be imperfect. In today’s modern world with modern design, things are always looking clean and perfect. Sometimes I just feel drawn to a beautiful mess. Open shelving with mismatching things, exposed mismatched light bulbs, rough exposed wood. It’s all so charming.

The other aspect of this space that tugs at my heart is the copper pots and pans in the kitchen. Copper and pink are such a beautiful mix in a country kitchen like this, no???

The perfectly pink morning drink thats good for you

Okay guys. Pink things make me happy. Have you seen my ‘decorista pink’ pinterest board?! Well, Now that I have been a little more ‘lifestyle’ here on the blog, I have really decided to share almost everything about my day. All the things I find that help me because I am always looking to be better, more efficient, living my best life every single day. What I have learned is that mornings are the most important part of your day, at least that is what I have learned from years of working with the most successful people I know.

I typically spend my morning with coffee in hand. I’m handing Roman, getting ready, prepping for the day while sipping java. Every once and a while though, I need a break from coffee. I would say like once a week, I wake up and don’t really want coffee. I’m all about switching things up to keep life exciting. But I still need that good caffeine coursing through my body. It is essential.

I prefer to have this drink on ice and sip it through a pretty straw. When I am out of my LaCroix, I even like to throw it in my soda stream and sparkle it up. I am a big fan of sparkling water, I don’t know, flat water just doesn’t do it for me all day long. If you don’t have a SodaStream, I highly recommend getting one, they are the best! Anyway, I just love to have this drink in the morning because it makes me feel hydrated and it is so pretty to look at. Plus, I love iced drinks in the AM, iced coffee, iced teas. I drank it almost every morning during my pregnancy with Roman.

Now, I am off to throw some laundry in the wash, find some new velvet hangers (I’m thinking I want some pink ones) and organize the crap out of my closet, then record a new podcast episode. I am drinking my pink drink right now, can you tell it gets you energized?!?!
