if i got paid for everytime i watched TWILIGHT....i would be a millionare. i just adore this movie...i feel like i am falling in love each time they fly through the trees together. so amazing. My amazingly sweet boyfriend is on a mission to learn "bella's lullaby" on the piano and play it for me. :)

i have been obsessed with jewels ever since i was a little girl. my favorite jewels are those of my grandmother, America. she has the best collection of jewels i have ever played with. i love everything of hers. so lately i have been thinking of cocktail rings...and i just love this one!

wow. how the months have flown by. i better get all up to speed on the first half of my 2009
  • i finally made the move to san francisco (although i miss the sunny so cal cities)
  • i left the design world and lead my heart towards all that is pretty (i LOVE this word)
  • AVEDA has been my world on the day-to-day
  • i met the guy of my dreams (more on him later)
  • i've done lots of traveling to new cities (cabo, palm springs, tibburon,etc...)
  • i officially converted to wearing flats, despite my love of the 4 inch heels
  • i have fallen for public transportation
  • i survived the transition
  • i made adorable new friends!!! 
  • i cuddled with my roommates chihuahua, MAX, a lot!
  • i realized how much i love my people in LA more than i could ever have imagined!

Dont you just LOVE LOVE LOVE being inspired? The ocean inspires me, it brings me to my happy place. I honestly don't think I could ever live without water nearby again. It saddens me to think that some people do things to devistate our earth and our water...So, I joined the surfrider foundation and made a contribution. I am so excited to volunteer so that I can make a difference.

Its my cousins birthday today! :)
I adore him. So i am going to go over to his beautiful hollywood hills home and bake cookies.
I know i haven't mentioned this before but at the present moment i have taken on a new lifestyle. MACROBIOTICS!
its all about living a healthy life in every way, through food and spirituality.
its amazing. i have only been eating this way for a week, but i tell you, i have NEVER felt better inside. and the amount of cooking i have done is insane. i love learning to make new things, especially the types of food that nobody else i know seems to make. i mean, who makes miso soup and brown rice morning cereal. yumm!
so today i have decided to bake my first macrobiotic dessert, OATMEAL COOKIES!!!!

Last night I went with some work people to see Madonna. SHE IS A BAD ASS! Her show was amazing, she rocked it out. Her outfits were so funky and cool. Britney took the stage and looked ridiculously hot! I am so proud of her. Justin looked fine as ever. Him and Madonna have great stage chemistry. This was my first Madonna show ever and I am so glad I went.

Today is a really beautiful day. Barack Obama is our 44th president of the United States. Never in my life have I seen people so inspired...so excited for the future of our country. Watching the election and his speech in Chicago last night brought me to tears. YAY OBAMA! I am so excited...for our country, for the future, for EVERYTHING!!!! What a great day!!!

I am secretly lusting over these gorgeous footies (tribute sandal by YSL)! they are extremely necessary for my closet. they would add every bit of glam i have ever needed in my life. oh god help me by sending these extremely "perfect for me" shoes to my little girlie girl world! pretty please!!!!!

Domino magazine is the BEST magazine for anyone looking for decor inspiration. i remember the day i laid eyes on my first issue. it was love at first sight. i thought "finally!" a magazine made just for me. Creative, captive, colorful, stylish! Everything that Domino stands for, i live by! Please run out and get the latest issue, its packed with gorgeous pictures and tidbits... i have looked through it on 2 plane rides already! sooo good, sooo juicy!

home sweet home

i absolutely LOVE when people show off their creative talents in their own homes. I personally find a home that has detailed decorative touches to be brilliant. Flickr has the most amazing assortment of streams that display images of private homes. I think I will post pics of my place soon. My roommate paige and i take huge pride in our home and love keeping our plants happy, colors vibrant and candles lit all the time. Like Dorothy says "there's no place like home".
